Went a half size down on this boot. I usually wear a 10.5 in boots but with western boots I find a 9.5 is perfect. This boot was not too small, not too large and just narrow enough for a perfect fit. The break in period was as expected, a good two-three weeks of wearing and working in to get a good lift in the sole and tighten the fit even more. The sole is well made, the leather mixed in with the rubber material allows for a thinner sole bottom but with plenty of traction and molding of your foot gate. Love them!Had to return my initial pair because they were much larger than a typical size 12. Very nice looking and comfortable boots though. The finish is very red, definitely more red than it appears in the pictures.Great BootsI have trouble fitting boots without trying them on so there is nothing wrong with them. some run a little larger than others depending on manufacturer. The boots are well made and will last for years with a little care. The best western boots I've ever owned, hands down. The rubber infusion in the sole makes them far more comfortable than traditional leather soled boots. My husband has worn 10.5 size since he was 16, he's 63 now and he still wears that size They were my gift to him for christmas ! I ordered these because he wears " Nocona Boots " . He could not even get his foot insideGreat boot at a good price. I get lots of compliments.Like the boots very thing about themBoots are soft and flexible. The leather lining is a huge asset. I like em.
